  • Slayy Point YouTube Channel Creators Move Delhi High Court Over Alleged AI-Generated Deepfake Content

Digital content creators Gautami Kawale and Abhyudaya Mohan, who run the popular YouTube channel Slayy Point, have moved the Delhi High Court seeking urgent protection against the alleged creation and circulation of AI-generated, morphed and pornographic deepfake content falsely portraying them.

The matter is scheduled to be heard on Tuesday before Justice Vikas Mahajan.

In their plea, the creators said they are widely recognised public figures with significant goodwill and an online following, noting that their YouTube channel has more than 10 million subscribers. They asserted that their personality and privacy rights are protected under the Constitution, as well as under statutory and common law.

According to the suit, in October 2025 the creators discovered that Kawale's facial likeness had been digitally morphed and superimposed onto nude and pornographic images and videos. The plea further alleges that fabricated, AI-generated videos falsely depicting both creators in intimate acts were being circulated across pornographic websites, social media platforms and search engine results.

The creators claimed that the disputed content is entirely false and was deliberately tagged with their names to exploit their popularity and maximise circulation. They said the content has caused serious damage to their dignity, professional reputation and brand value.

The suit has been filed against multiple entities, including unknown persons and online intermediaries such as Meta Platforms, Reddit, X (formerly Twitter) and Google LLC. The creators have alleged that despite repeated complaints, the disputed content continues to remain accessible, in violation of obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology Rules, 2021.

Through the suit, the creators have sought urgent directions for takedown and de-indexing of the disputed content, injunctions restraining further circulation, disclosure of basic subscriber information linked to the uploads and damages for the harm suffered.
